Our Warranty
Every guarantee is written in plain language and backed by our contractor's licence. This is a contract, not a promise.
This warranty document constitutes a binding obligation between Slab Paving Pty Ltd ("the Contractor") and the property owner ("the Client") for all works completed under a signed Slab contract. All warranty periods commence from the date of practical completion as defined in the contract.
Structural Integrity — 7 Years
Slab warrants that all asphalt and paver surfaces will remain free from structural failure, heaving, or base settlement for a period of seven (7) years from the date of practical completion, under normal vehicular and pedestrian loading conditions.
Drainage Compliance — 5 Years
All surfaces are designed and constructed to achieve positive drainage at a minimum grade of 1:80 toward nominated outlets. Slab warrants that no surface ponding will occur under rainfall events up to a 1-in-20-year ARI for five (5) years from completion.
Edge Containment & Kerb Work — 5 Years
All kerbing, edging, and containment structures are warranted against movement, cracking, or separation from the parent surface for five (5) years, subject to no third-party interference or root intrusion.
Paver Pattern & Bedding — 3 Years
Interlocking concrete paver installations are warranted against paver rocking, differential settlement exceeding 5mm over any 1.5m span, or bedding sand displacement for three (3) years from date of completion.
Council Compliance Guarantee
Every Slab project is submitted to the relevant local council for approval prior to works commencing. In the event that any council requires remediation works due to non-compliance with approved plans, Slab will undertake those works at no additional cost to the client.
